This St Mary's has a round tower and a most unsatisfactory noticeboard - there's not anywhere convenient to sit near it and it needs a paint job! There’s a path through an avenue of trees leading to the door of the church, which is nice – but there's also a very rustic brick arch which I hurried Auntie Fiona through 'cos I didn’t like the look of it.
But it was open [the church, not the arch, be clearer in your writing, Big Ted] and has a lovely carved round font hidden away behind a curtain.
