This is a flint church with a squat tower. Inside it has a rather plain round front (by that Norman chappie, I think) which is up against a wall so Uncle Les couldn’t get behind it to take my photo (he likes to do this so that you can see a bit of the church I'm in, Dear Reader).
The church has a lot of effigies, some of which are a bit battered (not by ME!) and are not easy to distinguish. [There are nine stone effigies of the de la Beche family. These all date from the first half of the 14th century, Big Ted]
There’s also a Yew tree in the churchyard which is 'sposed to be "at least 1000 years old and though it has been struck by lightning and blown over in a storm it is still partly alive”. Hmm!
