Elsing (374)

This is a big St Mary's (there's a lot of them around here). I went inside, had a look around and sat on the font.

What a font cover! I confess I was a bit worried that it would fall down and squish me. It must make the babies rather scared to see that above them when they come to church get baptized.

 

For a change I also sat on a renovated plough that they had in the church (as you do!). I would like to point out that I was not responsible for all the missing plaster behind me, it was like that when I went in!
