This is another St Mary's that is looked after by the nice people at the Churches Conservation Trust. It's a really big church in the middle of nowhere with a very funny ceiling in the nave. Can you see it in my photo?
There was also a sculpture thingy in the south aisle (you can see it a bit behind me), but I didn't really understand it. [The piece is called 'For Love of Rose' by local blacksmith and sculptor Bill Cordaroy. It commemorates Rose Wanjiku Mwangi, who was trapped for four days in 1998 beneath the rubble of the bombed American embassy in Nairobi, Kenya. Sadly, she died before she could be rescued, Big Ted]
