This was the final church of my trip and I was very lucky to see inside - it wasn't s'posed to be open, but a nice lady was there waiting for someone and she said, "Hello!". I explained all about my hobby of visiting St Mary's churches and that I had a website.
Another lady arrived who was getting married soon, so I said, "good luck" to her and left them to their meeting.
I also went down to the river estuary here and sat on various cold metal thingies! Uncle Les has let me add photos of them here. The top one is me on a crane and the bottom one is me on a winch. (I'm not sure what either of those things is but I'm sure someone will let me know.)
After I got home I was asked to write an article about my visit for the local magazine, it's called Wivenhoe Tidings. You can see it on my Magazine Articles page.
