A nice blue sign that matches my blue cardi!

This St Mary’s has two pulpits and a portable mini font (it took me ages to find it ‘cos it’s so little and not at the back of the church, where they usually are, it was up by the main altar). It must be handy to use ‘cos you can move it around the church to let people see what’s going on in a baptism. You can’t see much of it in the photo ‘cos it’s almost as big as me – or I’m almost as big as it!

This church also has a very int’resting rude cross, which Uncle Les took a picture of for me. [It’s not “rude” it’s “rood” which means a cross (usually a crucifix), especially one positioned above the rood screen of a church or on a beam over the entrance to the chancel, Big Ted]
