Shapwick (529)

This is a quiet church in a quiet village. If it was open, I was going to go inside and look around. But it wasn't quiet inside the church! I could hear a piano and a man singing. I didn't want to disrupt his work, so I just sat outside on a tomb in the sun and then moved on to another St Mary's.

On the way here I saw a sign to a village called Burtle and I thought it would be rather fun to "hurtle to Burtle" - but it doesn't have a St Mary's, so I didn't.
