I've visited all these lovely St Mary's Churches in Buckinghamshire. Click on a picture to read a bit more about the church (and maybe see more pictures of me!).

125. Bletchley

This church is just behind Bletchley Park which was used by codebreakers during the war. I'm really not sure what this means but I'm sure Little Ted can tell me.

47. Padbury

But, there's a comfy bench in the churchyard with a good view over the countryside.

46. Thornborough

big ted on fontbig ted with winnie the poohThis church has a rather comfy gate, just right for a bear to sit on.

I went inside and I had a good chat with another bear. He might be a cousin of our Winnie the Pooh (he still has his T-shirt too, but it's not as nice as mine).  There was another font photo too.

This bit added much later - Our Winnie the Pooh seems to have left St Mary's Plumtree without telling us! Little Ted and I've looked ev'rywhere and can't find him. He seems to have been swapped for a Rupert - not a fair exchange.

45. Whaddon

big ted on benchIt was lovely and sunny here. I couldn't get in the church, but I sat on a sunny bench in the churchyard and had a short snooze.

328. Clifton Reynes

big ted on fontHurray! Another church where I can go inside and explore the font. I had to sit at the bottom of the font, 'cos there was a big slippery font cover and I couldn't hang on well enough to sit on it.

327. Cold Brayfield

There wasn't a notice board at this church, so you'll just have to trust me that this is where it was. I sat on a very rickety gate for my photo and felt very insecure about it. I couldn't go inside, and I can see why it was called COLD Brayfield (it could also be called DRIZZLY Brayfield, but that would be a bit silly).

334 Haversham

We couldn't get into this St Mary's, but there was a little barred window in the porch so I pretended to be in prison waving at Uncle Les - it was very funny.

There was scaffolding on the tower and there were some men making it better.

335. Stowe

This church is in the middle of a very big park called Stowe Park but it is the Parish Church of Stowe (it's also a St Mary's but that's in very small writing).

I got inside the church to have a look round and found this tiny font. I had to take the lid off to sit in it 'cos I couldn't sit on it otherwise (I hope they don't mind - I put it back afterwards).

I've written a bit more about my visit to Stowe on my News page. And there are lots more photos of me!
