Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all my lovely readers!
I've woken up from my hibernation again, this time to celebrate the Christmas and New Year holidays. I've had a good time - I hope you have too. There was only one incident with gravy, but that was soon wiped off my fur.
I've also been having a good look at my detailed map of St Mary's churches I've visited and pointing out the obvious gaps to my associates. They didn't seem very interested, but that may have been because of the mince pies they were eating at the time. But I hope to be able to fill at least some of the gaps in 2023.
Auntie Fiona says that since I've visited over 400 St Mary's churches, I really ought to slow down a bit - after all I am a bear in retirement. And she said, "maybe you should stop at 500." Well, I was outraged! How can I possibly stop visiting St Mary's churches - they're in my blood (well they would be if I had any blood rather than just squidgy stuffing). I gave her a LOOK (I've adopted this from the success of my chum Paddington's hard stare) but I don't think it worked.
Anyway I'll keep working on her and Uncle Les. Hopefully, in 2023 I will visit some new St Mary's churches - maybe one will be yours!
