Out and about in Leicestershire
Added on 17 June 2022
Hello again dear reader,
Earlier this week, as it was sunny, I thought it would be good to have trip out so I've been out and about in my new home county of Leicestershire (that's tricky to spell in a hurry!) and I visited five more St Mary's churches. Sadly, none of them was open for me to have a nosey round inside, which was a shame.
They're all places quite near to my home in Kib: Anstey, Potters Marston (see the picture on the left), Broughton Astley, Ashby Magna and Willoughby Waterleys. What lovely names! I've added the details - and photos of ME of course - to my Leicestershire page.
P.S. Did you see Paddington and the Queen on the telly earlier this month at the Queen's Jubilee - what a great bear he is, but his table manners give bears a bad name! The Queen's rather nice too; imagine her eating marmalade sandwiches!
Have a lovely summer,
love from Big Ted
